Swirling, churning, writhing, the stars fall over strange skies and sprawling sea. Orion weeps, and the Mother’s breast beats anew.
And in the deep, dark eternity -
The Maw devours all.
Time beyond measure.
Horror beyond reckoning.
Come close, and listen…
For these are the tales
of the Astro Throne.

Ice Giants of Glacia
03:52
|
|||
Set upon his journey
Across snow blind glacial path
Far beyond the valley
And the highest mountain pass
Therein lies the temple
Of the ancient gods of man
Rise
Ice Giants of Glacia
There upon the alter
Stood the figures carved of stone
Whereupon their promise kept in
Blood and flesh and bone
And as he reached to touch them
Beheld a chilling, radiant glow
Rise
Ice Giants of Glacia
And now above the vista
Where the prism shines their light
A cold visage cracks and sneers
And towers to new heights
100 fold they were in line
100 deep and wide
Rise
Ice Giants of Glacia
Rise
Ice Giants of Glacia

Caestus of Grief
05:38
|
|||
From the High Wall he descends
A Seeker born of embers
A heavy price to pay for wicked men
And now he walks through spires of gold
To watch them dredge the Ash Heap
Suffer souls who thought that they could mend
So it happens again
Now nothing can grow
When grief is all you know
The colors creep in
Red, black, and gold
yours for the taking
They worship roots in halls of stone
And pray to gods in amber
A curse to choke the world in iron tomb
But is it more than flesh and bone
That calls to those who wander
Back and forth in search of sunless truth
And the lies of his youth
Now nothing can grow
When Grief is all you know
The colors creep in
Steady in stride,
Abandons his reason
Nothing can grow
When Grief is all you know
The colors crash in
Red black and gold
A changing of season

Time-Eater
01:15
|
|||
I looked, and He was there.
Out beyond the waves. Colossal.
The sun rested on his shoulders…
…and He was…eating.
Eating all the life
That would ever be.
Their screams danced upon the shore,
Like some quiet melody.
And above Him,
A terrible Sign, that bore His name.
His gaze,
unbroken above the water, caught mine,
And I knew.
I knew that this was Death.

Across celestial Void
Alive with ancient dread
A nameless, creeping fear
Will blanket us in death
Is it Divine Superstition
That keeps the wolves well fed?
And in sublime supposition
Will demand such a test
When time and space collide
Where planets all align
There will appear above
A ceaseless, ageless Sign
And now He’s cast out of Heaven
In an eye for an eye
And devours His children
In unspeakable rites
Old Heathen Rites
The more it knows
The more it breaths
And writhes upon a cosmic sea
Of God and Man is He conceived
And He will be delivered
And now it swells beneath
It moves, it is eats, it’s grows
And in its birthing cry
Spills out in the cold
Is it divine superstition?
Or an eye for an eye
so he vomits his children
Are they breathing new life?

On Hyperion Shore
04:19
|
|||
Sour hearts prevail
We can time it all to scale
Where the ocean meets the veil
Undecided, underwhelmed
When it falls in line
But it drips in alkali
Then it’s all just a memory
Beyond
Adrift among the stars, Hyperion
Hyperion
Like the sun
That burns a light through eye
And mind alone
And in its cost will offer
Sight contrived
Now they lay it on the line
In an atmospheric climb
Where Atomic laws can’t bind
As it streaks across the sky
Color blooms in wild light
Will it stay just a memory
Alone
Awash upon the shore, Hyperion
Hyperion
Too far gone
To watch the planets eye
Covet the sun
And with the light it shines undone
Beyond
Adrift among the stars, Hyperion
Hyperion
Far too long
A paper sky
Above a breaking dawn
All To touch the face of God

Dark Wizard
06:07
|
|||
Back inside the same old room
I’m back in Black
I’m back in Gloom
I’m back in tune with the
Shaping of the spheres
A hollowed head made whole again
The same old heart
The same old skin
The same old man who
Wreathed the world in Sin
Round and round and round again
I’m right back here where I began
And I’m the same as
I’ve always been, I’m a:
Dark Wizard
(Dark Wizard)
Dark Wizard
(Dark Wizard)
Back inside
You’re alive
You’re soft
You are evergreen
Whispers, how
they’ll fail us now
And the all the horror you have seen
Bite your tongue
You’ve won
You’ve said
Your apologies
If you take my hand
You could learn to be
A three eyed
Pagan God like me
